These rare Italian armchairs from the 1950s, are attributed to Guglielmo Urlich. They have been newly re-upholstered in a soft pearly grey velvet with blue piping, but still using the traditional fillings and springs. Originally the chairs were covered in cotton velvet. The walnut legs have small brass feet that show the quality of the pieces. The front legs are fluted. The shape is truly unique, with the blue piping emphasizing the sleek lines of mid-century chairs. The neat size and light colouring suggest they are ideally suited to bedroom chairs.
