This spectacular ball-shaped pendant lamp is made of "cadiz" shell . A product from the Philippines popular in the 1960s . The individual petals are thin pieces of pearly shell edged in metal. A real handcrafted piece. The effect, when illuminated, transforms the silver gray of the lamp petals into a splendid palette of browns, greys and cream. Ideal focal point to complete a modern interior of trendy tones. The creator is a German company called Rausch and is believed to be inspired by Verner Panton's shell lamp designs from that period.
