This elegant set of tables, designed by Bertha Schaefer, the noted American designer in the 1950s, was made by several furniture makers. This version is likely English, made of teak. The four round tables fold and slide neatly under the rectangular main table, which has small wheels for easy movement. In excellent condition for its age, the main table shows only minor signs of use. It looks like the little tables have not be used.
